The Initial Xbox Game Pass Games of 2026 Demonstrate Xbox Remains Committed.
Everywhere you go, enthusiasts continue to ring the knell for the green team. Xbox was recently outsold by a lesser-known competitor. Platform-specific outlets began covering on PS5 topics as a new development. 2025 was a period of total upheaval for the tech giant's gaming arm. Yet, based exclusively on the upcoming Game Pass lineup in 2026, it is apparent that Xbox continues to plan to engage players with strong games on its key platform.
The Immediate Additions
The duo of games that are immediately available as you read this, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, aren't the showstoppers. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass over the next few weeks that's deserving of attention.
Major Titles on the Horizon
Starting January 13th, the subscription service will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, an open-world game that breaks up conventional open-world tropes with an intergalactic heist adventure. A further major acquisition is Resident Evil Village featuring the towering Lady Dimitrescu, which our 2021 review called "an ideal blend of frights and fights."
Intriguing Niche Additions
But even the smaller games coming to Game Pass soon deserve recognition. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite that's a blast to play, becomes available next week — and you should try it whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game.
The British post-apocalyptic game from last year may draw you in in about 15 minutes flat.
Atomfall, the stealth survival game by the developers behind Sniper Elite, is another one to watch. Those with the top-tier subscription also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to look forward to.
A Well-Rounded Collection
Ultimately, this isn't a revolutionary update to Game Pass, nor are they tentpole Microsoft studios games that validate the subscription in the first place. However, this batch of games are very dependable. There's a good mixture of older titles you may have skipped and fairly new titles that didn't get the attention they were due initially — rendering them ideal prospects to experience a revival on Game Pass.
Hope you're ready to part ways with The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
