This energetic camp is an uplifting, welcoming three-day adults’ street dance camp in High Wycombe. The format throughout the camp is a party-style group warmup, followed by several 90-minute workshops teaching different street dance styles, then an hour-long jam to show off new moves. Dancers are divided into groups according to ability and experience, so it is perfect for those who are completely new to popping and locking, right up to experienced performers or teachers. This event does not provide accommodation but there are several places to stay within walking distance, and it is under an hour by train into central London.

Maritime Singing Break in Cornwall

This coastal town is the excellent location for a maritime music retreat. Guests will be taught traditional shanties from a folk singer and vocal coach, and have a go at writing their own. The schedule includes vocal warmups, breath control techniques, stagecraft advice and a closing performance. The holiday is based at a rural hotel with views of the bay. All meals are included, including a Cornish cream tea on arrival, cooked or continental breakfasts, lunches to go and three-course dinners. Traditional rum, unfortunately, is not included.
